After a few days staying in the main ashram, I asked Muniraj for permission to stay on the gufa side. (the side with the nine small temples and the cave where Baba was first found meditating). This is the gufa side from the river, with the cave opening in the lower right. The temple spires have scaffolding on them because they are getting faced with shaped local marble in different colors and designs. It is a major construction project, with cutting, sanding and shaping of the marble occuring on site. When I was there two spires were completed, and two more were in progress.
